How to Get My Kindle Ebooks Free

Happy New YearI hope that your 2014 is off to a happy start.

I’ve been working over the Christmas holidays on finishing the first draft of a new book for runners and walkers, and I hope to share news about it with you soon.

In the meantime, I’m taking a moment today to share some other happy news with you.

Starting today, if you ever bought or buy any of my SpryFeet.com books new in softcover directly from Amazon.com, then you can “buy” the matching Kindle edition at no charge!

Kindle MatchBook” is the name of this program, and Amazon says that thousands of books are participating in the program, which requires that the Kindle MatchBook price be $2.99 or lower.

Today I set ALL of my Kindle MatchBook prices to $0.00 — free — to thank you for your purchase of the softcover editions.

So, even after you have enjoyed one of my SpryFeet.com softcover books, you can take it with you electronically as a Kindle ebook at no extra charge.

Why Am I Doing This?

I want happy readers — people like you who will tell their friends about my books. That’s far more important to me than immediate sales.

If you buy — or bought at any time in the past — a new softcover edition of one of my books directly from Amazon.com, then I want you to have the Kindle edition, too, and I don’t believe now that you should have to pay for it.

How to Get Your Free Kindle Ebooks

Amazon.com will not automatically send to your Kindle device or Amazon account any of your Kindle MatchBook-qualifying ebooks.

Instead, you must “buy” — for $0.00 — the SpryFeet.com Kindle editions through your Amazon.com account.

Here is a tutorial on how to do this as quickly as possible.

Happy 2014!
