There is a great hoax being perpetrated about the run:walk method.

Among many claims, promoters of the method say:

  • You can finish races faster.
  • You can avoid injuries.
  • You can be happier with your training and racing.
  • You can be more relaxed.
  • You can even be more popular.

If you have never used the method, then let me warn you that these claims are not necessarily true!

If you are a run:walk athlete and wonder what is wrong with you, then let me advise you to take these claims with a grain of salt.
